Terms of Use

Prudora is an IB Mathematics study platform aimed at students aged 16–18 enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. By creating an account you confirm:

• You are studying IB Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches or Applications & Interpretation, SL or HL).
• If you are 16 or older, you are agreeing to these Terms on your own behalf.
• If you are under 16, a parent or guardian has read and accepted these Terms on your behalf as part of the consent step in onboarding.

Prudora provides:

• A question bank aligned to the IB Mathematics syllabi (AA SL/HL, AI SL/HL).
• Spaced-repetition practice, progress tracking and performance analytics.
• Practice mock papers.
• An optional AI Tutor powered by Anthropic's Claude models.
• Communication tools between students and their assigned teacher/tutor.

Prudora is a supplement to — not a replacement for — school instruction and professional tutoring. The AI Tutor is designed to guide students with hints; it is not an examiner and its output should not be taken as official IB advice.

• Accounts are created via Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
• One account per person. You may not share your account or use someone else's.
• You must provide accurate information during onboarding. Impersonating another student or tutor is prohibited.
• Irina Oliveira reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

You agree not to:

• Use Prudora to cheat in official IB assessments or examinations.
• Share copyrighted IB exam questions through the platform.
• Attempt to extract, copy, or redistribute question content from the Prudora question bank.
• Use the AI Tutor to generate complete solutions to submit as your own work in graded assessments.
• Use automated scripts, bots or scrapers against Prudora.
• Attempt to circumvent security controls, RLS policies or rate limits.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful to other users.

• The AI Tutor uses Anthropic's Claude models. It is designed to provide hints and explanations, not complete worked solutions.
• AI-generated content can be incorrect. Always verify answers using your textbook, teacher, or the IB markscheme.
• Conversations are limited to 20 turns per day and 5 turns per question to keep sessions pedagogically focused.
• Conversation history is automatically deleted after 90 days. See our Privacy Policy.
• Access to the AI Tutor is granted at the discretion of your teacher and is not guaranteed with every account.

All question content, worked solutions, hints, theory primers, and software code in Prudora are the intellectual property of Irina Oliveira or used under licence. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use Prudora for your own IB study.

Content you create — personal notes, flashcards, and diary entries — remains yours. You grant Prudora a limited licence to store and display that content to you and your assigned teacher only.

Prudora is provided “as is”. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

We may update features, add or remove question content, and change these Terms. Material changes to Terms will be communicated at least 14 days before taking effect.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Irina Oliveira shall not be liable for:

• Any IB examination results, whether positively or negatively affected by use of Prudora.
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Loss of data resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.
• Indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. This permanently removes all your data and access.

We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms. In non-urgent cases we will give at least 7 days' notice by email.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
